• 2009 – Nexus Materials, Inc. was founded in Los Angeles, California.
• 2012 – Obtained Special Conditional Use Permit for an agricultural film recycling facility in California.
• 2018 – Nexus Materials leveraged its one-stop integrated recycling and continuous production process to launch the first 100% recycled plastic trash bag in the U.S., made from recycled agricultural film, manufactured in the United States, and distributed through major retailers, including Amazon.
• 2020 – Established a production facility in Taiwan to expand circular economy operations and advance recycling and regeneration technologies in partnership with industry leaders.
• 2021 - Certified as a licensed reuse processing facility.  
  Awarded Taiwan’s first 100% recycled Eco Label certification.
  Received the MIT “Made in Taiwan” Smile Label.
• 2022 - Awarded the Taiwan EPA Gold Award for Environmental Excellence.
• 2024 - Awarded the MIT “Made in Taiwan” Smile Label Gold Award.
